Projects
The Projects module is the shared workspace for planning work, assigning tasks, recording time, and seeing the operational and financial result of each project.
How Projects is organized
In normal use, first complete Setup and build the Project Team hierarchy, then create a Project, assign its team, and add its Tasks. Team members record work in Timesheets, while managers use the Workspace, Costing & Connections, and Reports to review progress and results.
| Area | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Overview | Quick counts for open, completed, cancelled, overdue, over-budget, and high-priority projects |
| Dashboard | Charts and measures for project health, task status, time, billability, cost, completion, and team workload |
| Inbox | Your due-today, overdue, and pending assigned documents |
| Project Team | Build the org-wide hierarchy of people and groups available for assignment |
| Project | Create the project, assign its team, maintain its tasks, review costing, and open connected records |
| Task | Plan, assign, sequence, link, remind, and complete individual pieces of work |
| Project Template | Reuse an ordered set of task templates |
| Timesheet | Record an employee’s activities for one day |
| Reports | Analyze project activity, schedules, delays, and employee time |

- Review Costing & Connections, then use Reports.
What you can see and change depends on your subscription and role capabilities. A missing tile, action, or tab may be a permission issue rather than missing data.
