Job Cards
Go to: Manufacturing → Job Card
Job cards are created automatically from work orders — one per operation. They track the actual time and progress at each workstation on the production floor.
Job Card Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Work Order | The parent work order |
| Operation | The manufacturing operation (e.g., Assembly, QC) |
| Workstation | The machine or workstation where work is done |
| Employee | The operator assigned to this job card |
| Planned Qty | Quantity to be produced |
| Completed Qty | Quantity actually completed |
| Time Logs | Start/end times for each work session |
Recording Time
Operators can log time directly on the job card:
- Open the job card for the operation.
- Click Start Job to begin the timer.
- Click Complete Job when the operation is done.
- Enter the Completed Quantity.
- Save and submit.
Time logged on job cards feeds into the Job Card Report and Production Cost Report for accurate labor cost tracking.
Floor Plan
Go to: Manufacturing → Floor Plan
The floor plan provides a visual layout of your production floor, showing workstations and their current job card status in real time. This gives production managers a live overview of the shop floor.
