Job Cards

Go to: Manufacturing → Job Card

Job cards are created automatically from work orders — one per operation. They track the actual time and progress at each workstation on the production floor.

Job Card Fields

FieldDescription
Work OrderThe parent work order
OperationThe manufacturing operation (e.g., Assembly, QC)
WorkstationThe machine or workstation where work is done
EmployeeThe operator assigned to this job card
Planned QtyQuantity to be produced
Completed QtyQuantity actually completed
Time LogsStart/end times for each work session

Recording Time

Operators can log time directly on the job card:

  1. Open the job card for the operation.
  2. Click Start Job to begin the timer.
  3. Click Complete Job when the operation is done.
  4. Enter the Completed Quantity.
  5. Save and submit.

Time logged on job cards feeds into the Job Card Report and Production Cost Report for accurate labor cost tracking.

Floor Plan

Go to: Manufacturing → Floor Plan

The floor plan provides a visual layout of your production floor, showing workstations and their current job card status in real time. This gives production managers a live overview of the shop floor.
