Go to: Financials → Reports → Tax Reports → Payment Tax Report
Before you run the report
- Confirm that the Payment Entry is Completed.
- Confirm that its tax row uses a tax rule rather than a charge rule.
- Confirm that the tax row has the correct GL account, rate, amount, and Added or Deducted treatment.
- Ensure your role has the View Payment Tax Report capability.
Generate the report
- Select the Fiscal Year.
- Optionally select a Payment Type:
- Pay for outgoing payments.
- Receive for incoming payments.
- Select Generate Report.
- Select a Payment Entry number to open and review the source payment.

Export and share
- Select Export CSV for spreadsheet review and reconciliation.
- Select Export PDF for a presentation-ready report. The PDF includes the company name, primary address, fiscal-year period, applied rows, and report total.
Reconcile payment tax
- Run Payment Tax Report for the fiscal year and payment type.
- Open the Payment Entry from the report and compare its tax rows.
- Verify the tax rule, account, rate, treatment, and amount.
- Review the tax account in General Ledger for the same period.
- Compare payment-related tax with Sales Tax Report, Purchase Tax Report, and the relevant party tax ledger when investigating a difference.
A payment can contain more than one tax row, so the same Payment Entry may appear multiple times in the report.
If an entry is missing
Check that the Payment Entry is completed, belongs to the selected fiscal year, contains a positive tax amount, and uses a rule configured as Tax. Also clear the Payment Type filter and generate the report again.
Reported tax follows approved transaction rows, accounts, dates, and returns. Confirm local filing rules separately; ERPX report names do not replace legal tax advice.
