HR Reports
Go to: HR → Reports
Reports are grouped the same way as the HR sidebar, by the question they answer. Use them to settle headcount, attendance, leave balance, payroll cost, and expense questions without exporting raw tables first.
| Group | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Employee Reports | Who works where, job history, skills, current assignments, and who left |
| Shifts & Attendance | Daily punches, monthly calendars, overtime and short hours, shift-wise attendance |
| Leave Reports | Every leave transaction with a running balance, and current entitlement |
| Payroll Reports | What was paid, split by department or component, plus employee tax detail |
| Expenses & Benefits | Claims, remaining limits, benefit balances, advances, and what is configured |
The HR Period governs almost everything
Most HR reports are scoped to an HR Period, not a fiscal year. Balance-style reports (Expense Claim Balance, Employee Benefit Balance) read the period marked Is Current and ignore your date filters entirely.
If a balance report looks empty or stale, check Setup → General → HR Period before checking the data. No period marked Is Current means no balances to report.
How to run a reliable report
- Confirm the HR Period, month, or date range first.
- Apply the same department, designation, branch, and employee filters when comparing two reports.
- Generate or refresh after changing filters.
- Drill into the source document before correcting anything.
- Export CSV for analysis, PDF for a controlled presentation, where offered.
