Leads

Go to: CRM → Leads

Leads are potential customers who have shown interest in your product or service. They are the starting point of your sales pipeline.

Creating a Lead

Open Lead Form

Navigate to CRM → Leads and click New.

Fill in Lead Details

Lead NameName of the person or company
CompanyCompany name (if B2B)
EmailPrimary contact email
PhoneContact phone number
Lead SourceHow the lead was acquired (website, referral, event)
TerritorySales territory for this lead
Lead OwnerSales rep responsible for this lead

Set Lead Status

StatusDescription
OpenLead is new and being worked
RepliedLead has been contacted
OpportunityLead has been qualified as an opportunity
Do Not ContactLead opted out of communication
LostLead will not convert

Save

Click Save.

Converting a Lead to Opportunity

When a lead is qualified (ready to discuss a deal):

  1. Open the lead record.
  2. Click Make → Opportunity.
  3. Fill in opportunity details (deal value, close date, etc.).
  4. The lead status automatically updates to Opportunity.
