Organization Setup

After logging in for the first time, the first thing you need to do is configure your company profile. This tells ERPX who your organization is and sets the foundation for all modules.

Complete your organization setup before adding employees, configuring modules, or creating any transactions. Many settings cannot be changed after transactions have been recorded.

Company Profile

Navigate to Settings → Company to fill in your organization details.

Enter Company Information

Fill in the basic details of your organization:

Set the Fiscal Year

Define your financial year:

Year Start DateFirst day of the fiscal year (e.g., 01-Jul-2025)
Year End DateLast day of the fiscal year (e.g., 30-Jun-2026)

Only one fiscal year can be active at a time. At year-end, you can close the current year and open a new one.

Configure Default Accounts

ERPX comes with a default chart of accounts for your country. You can customize it or accept the defaults:

  • Default Payable Account — Used for supplier invoices
  • Default Receivable Account — Used for customer invoices
  • Default Bank Account — Used for payment entries
  • Default Cost of Goods Sold Account — Used in sales transactions

Add Branch Locations

If your company operates from more than one location, define each branch:

Navigate to HR → Employee → Branch or Settings → Branch.

AddressPhysical address of the branch

Each employee can be assigned to a specific branch, and reports can be filtered by branch.

Save and Confirm

Review all details and save. You will be redirected to the main dashboard.
