Warehouses
Go to: Inventory → Warehouses
Warehouses represent physical storage locations. ERPX supports a hierarchical warehouse structure.
Setting Up Warehouses
Main Warehouse
├── Zone A – Raw Materials
├── Zone B – Finished Goods
├── Zone C – Returns & Quality Check
└── Zone D – Shipping Area
Branch Warehouse
├── Zone A – Retail Stock
└── Zone B – Reserve StockCreating a Warehouse
Open Warehouse Form
Navigate to Inventory → Warehouses and click New.
Fill in Warehouse Details
| Field | Description |

| Warehouse Name | Name of the warehouse (e.g., Main Warehouse) |
| Parent Warehouse | The parent location for hierarchical warehouses |
| Company | The company this warehouse belongs to |
| Address | Physical address of the warehouse |
| Is Group | Whether this is a parent/group warehouse |
Save
Click Save.
Stock Transfer
Go to: Inventory → Stock Entry → Transfer
Transfer stock between warehouses using a stock entry with type Material Transfer.
Create a Stock Entry
Navigate to Inventory → Stock Entry and click New.
Set Type to Material Transfer
Select Material Transfer as the stock entry type.
Fill in Transfer Details

| Posting Date | Date of the transfer |
Save and Submit
Click Save, then Submit to finalize the transfer.
Stock transfers do not affect the total inventory value — they only move stock between locations. The system updates stock levels in both warehouses.
